Swan Sisters is one of my personal favourites. It is made out of a decapitated trio of (pre-loved) Lladro swans, now deified on the body of Royal Doulton praying girl.
Gertie is one of the largest Gods I’ve made, a statuesque 65cm in height. She was once a figurine of Jesus holding flowers, in colourfully painted chalkware (plaster), which was popular in the early 19th to mid-20th centuries. The cow head is ceramic. The new creation was sculpted, primed and finished in a bronze patina.
I found a small seated buddha at a yard sale, which combined with a schnauzer ceramic head makes a surprisingly wise new god.
Feel free to rename, but with a sacred heart this god is surely a god of love.
